Our origin
Pollen Labs started in 2023 in the Privacy & Scaling Explorations team at the Ethereum Foundation, We started as a small group of designers, engineers, and builders exploring how cryptographic and decentralized technologies could serve real human needs, chasing problems rather than hype.
In 2024, we evolved into a product accelerator through collaboration with Team Next Billion, turning early concepts becoming tangible tools using Ethereum technology, design thinking, and rapid prototyping.
Today, as a Canadian-registered company, our mission centers on purposeful technology, solutions developed by purposeful design, ethical aspects, and deep respect for the communities we serve.
We create technology that is both practical and rooted in real-world value, changing complex technologies into user-friendly, human-centered tools.
We take care of everything, from early strategy and design all the way to building and launching the product.
We stay involved at every step, from figuring out what to build to shipping the final product. We care a lot about quality and are always looking for ways to do better. We use AI tools for research and prototyping, but keep a hands-on approach throughout. This helps us create work that’s practical and ready to launch.
